Yup. That configuration virtually turns the M1 Air and M2 Air into a reliable pro machine.

(I’d advise just to ensure you get 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage or more, as you couldn’t upgrade these things later.)
Why I would still go with an M1 MacBook Air rather than the M2 in 2022
