Yeah, the mobile apps for writing are simply not usable.

The mobile app itself has significant limitations. I cannot add image descriptions or captions within the mobile interface, despite Medium placing extreme importance on these elements. This forces an absurd workflow: I write a text on my iPad, insert an image, but then must wait until I’m at a computer to add essential descriptions and source citations.
