While I did not go into great detail about that, there are two instances in the article that clearly suggest its web and desktop capabilities, one of them being this bit: "Flutter is an exciting prospect of living in a world where one can deploy one code-base to mobile, desktop and the web."

The reason I did not go into much great detail is Flutter's web and desktop capabilities being in beta. Beta is exciting but not production-ready, so I did not want to "sell" something that's not yet ripe for sale. 😉
