While clearly future-driven, I think Facebook has done an evasive move too, similar to Google which became Alphabet. What you don’t seem to go into is the stain-filled history Facebook has and it atrocious track-record. I think VR and AR are both exciting. When it’s Mark talking about it, it’s the creepiest thing ever. In the grand scheme of things, I think we actually all just need less of digital and more real-world experiences if we don’t want to destroy whatever of our humanity and societal values we still have left.
