Where I see capitalism starting to go wrong is indeed at corporate level but one could argue there is no corporate greed without individual greed. We have created a society where nothing is ever enough. I sometimes ask myself why someone who has everything they need in the present and the remainder of their life would still want more? If I would have the finances to support my average lifestyle for another say 60 years, I would stop doing activities that generate money. What exactly is the point? I think with every economic system we had so far the problem was exactly the same: we never knew where to stop, when enough was enough. I lived in Communism too just enough to remember things. It had similar shortcomings.
