Ugh. A tad too arrogant if you ask me. Here’s the thing, mate. Articles like these are rarely read by economists so maybe use an accessible language and explain your context in words too, not just formulas. In this case the human speak part says one thing, the formula says another, so of course, people will default to the initial, easier to understand context. It also looks like from the comments, that I am not the only reader pointing out the premise of the article being different to the rest of it.
