This might offend a few folks, but the way I see these articles is like MLM, a pyramid scheme with text. Selling hope to the next person who reads it, who then starts selling it as well hoping they’ll make just as much, claiming to have made $5K with 500 followers, having a gazillion side-hustles, none of which they can prove, only to see others copy the “recipe” and do the same, so it becomes a long chain of shortforms that say nothing, provide no value, just stroke egos, spread 4th grader common sense as pure genus while claiming “this is what the readers want” and how we should all respect readers by writing to their needs. Sure, blame the readers, that’s what every good writer does, no? 😈
