This comparison doesn't take into account one incredibly important aspect: Simily is 1 year old, while Medium is 11 years old. Would you compare your 1 yo self with your 11 yo self?!? All the reasons you're giving for Medium winning over Simily comes down to that. Medium is a very mature platform, Simily isn't, but just like people gave Medium a chance 10 years ago, people need to give a chance to Simily too.
