They had a note on the support page about follower counts being off. What you probably didn’t notice was that at one point the numbers jumped up by an unusually large number. It happened to me too and I saw it happen between two page navigations. In my case by about 180. Today that issue seems to have been resolved and I am back at the expected just over 3000.
