That's a very different story in Ireland, which my story focuses on most. The programming is lacklustre for anyone who has discovered the internet and uses it, and it also comes with 6 minutes of ads per hour. As I state in my article, I am not against broadcasters really but rather the means of funding and the threats around not paying being a criminal act, when in many cases one has no reason to pay. That whole approach is behind the times.
