JS engineers are put down every day for preferring it over TS. OOP fans are being called names for preferring it over functional, and I could go on. My Microsoft reference holds a lot more water if you really analyze it. The power of big tech trends showed its effect with TS as well. The article says it well. Let us enjoy our stuff and don’t force upon us what we don’t identify with. That’s what big tech companies do when they invent stuff like TS, React, Angular, etc. It’s frustrating and it’s exhausting and people need to hear that we’re sick and tired of it just like Svelte and Turbo 8.
