Starting to think I and everyone I have worked with is really freaking good at building large web applications with JS without "headaches".

If I am to be honest, the most annoying part about TS are its zealots who consider every JS developer an idiot / bad programmer / amateur. So maybe instead of eyerolling like DHH said, let us be. Which part of not everyone thinks the TS, OOP or whatever way isn't clear by now? The article's point is quite simple in fact, but everyone is stuck on "oh, he offended our little TS loving souls". Engineers and library developers question the value of TS and that is a fact. Not making that up. The positive reactions alone to this article far outweigh the negative ones. I wonder why, but I'm sure many will just say I managed to conjure all the "lazy" developers.
