Sounds about right, however, follow-up question would be — what is a gigantic user base? Some might think 100.000 users is a lot. For others it’s peanuts. Is it a million users, 10 million? Depends who you ask, though if you ask me, I think someone should really start answering that question in an objective way. I would start looking maybe at microservices from a user base of over 1 million, but then again, that’s just my experience working on a platform with over 50 million users — and thus, subjective.
