Someone told me at some point: "nothing is too expensive, you're too poor". Of course, I don't mean to offend here, but the reality is that Apple refuses to cater to everyone. They decided which segment of the market they want to operate in, and that's what they do. They will only ever charge as much as people are happy to pay, otherwise they have no business.
