Reads like a very cynical take, but just like we are diverse, we can also have diverse takes on something, so I respect your opinion. The Everyone is Awesome set I found boring too. I didn't think it represented what it tried to, and the message was lacklustre while the set itself from an AFOL's perspective pretty useless apart from maybe the coloured minifigs if you're looking for something unique as a collector. Compared to that, I found this set far more exciting in every way.
