OK, those are all fair points. The problem is that most visionaries come up with crazy ideas not knowing and not needing to know just how crazy it is. Otherwise they wouldn't be visionaries, they'd just be doing what they are already experts at. A large chunk of the tech we use today is the result of visionaries telling scientists, lab technicians, engineers to get creative. Every single time there is 1 visionary and 100 people who don't see beyond what's possible today. For instance, take Spotify. What they created was not possible during those days of the internet, so they literally changed the internet. But it was only possible because their crazy CEO pushed them hard enough to think beyond the possibilities of today. I am not stating that Holmes didn't go too far in faking it while hoping to make it, but I wish I had the opportunity to have a heart-to-heart with her and discuss some of these aspects as I really believe she was on to something, but wasn't given the bandwidth to get there. Essentially, what she needed was more time and better scientists.
