OK, so I think where our perspectives very much diverge is how you see content. You see it as purely just content. You don't see it as a human expression. A human expression cannot by definition be disrespectful. If someone signs soprano, it's not disrespectful, the same way as an author might like long introductions, side-notes, meandering. That's how they express themselves. This is why I mentioned that all content comes with risk. I am planning to publish a novel by the end of 2023. Do you feel a reader should have the right to run ChatGPT through it, get a summary and only then decide to read it? I don't think so. Same applies to a single article. Yes, to a large extent content is created to be consumed as intended by the author. Using an AI voice to read it is fine, because I haven't provided one myself, but if this would be a podcast, and the listener would prefer to hear it in the voice of Elvis Presley, the author would have every right to feel offended.
