OK. But these are niches that generally don't do well. Travel does well as vlogs but in written form, I'm sorry, it's just not the 1970s any more. And poetry, while I respect poets, and appreciate it as an art-form, it's not a popular thing anywhere. If bookshops relied on poetry to fly off the shelves, they'd all be closed by now. What keeps them open is the commercial writing, just as it is with music, obscure indie bands aren't the ones keeping the shops open. So, yeah, not a Medium problem. Maybe I should wrote a poem about Apple, see how that does. 🤣
