Not really, no. On the odd occasion when I do, I use fairly lightweight Ubuntu images. In my 10 years career never got into a situation where I genuinely needed more than 16GB RAM. Having said that, those working with a lot of virtual machines already know the Air is not for them. Probably not even at 24GB.
