Nono. Political writing based on investigative journalism. It’s one thing to have a hot take and it’s quite another to bring research and facts into a piece like the latest on the Trump shooting. Like my mum uses to say, everyone has an opinion. That’s easy. Writing a solid piece on politics is hard and takes a few of days after the event. The only exception are journalists who are at the event or have insider insight, but that’s not as common on Medium.
