Never in my 10 years here have I observed such a trend. The problem with many writers is that they focus too much on building a community with other writers, when in fact those will bring them the least amount of $$$ per read. Writers need to start writing for the readers who are here to read as those won’t be reading hundreds of stories a month, so the revenue share from them is much higher.
