Nah. I have conducted many interviews. The candidate has to mess up in many more ways for the interview to be “over”. Also, usually there is more than one interviewer and they each provide independent feedback post interview, then afterwards discuss their findings. That if the interview is done right, of course. Also, it’s perfectly fine to admit a mistake if you know how to explain what the mistake was and how you could do it better.
