I guess the main difference between your and my perspective the level of excitement for AI and the levels of openness in copyright rules. While I love Creative Commons as a concept, I also fear it, as many content creators still ended up in court and lost and that's often in the US where they even have a fair use policy. I am starting to shift more and more towards the closed source camp, having full control over my work, because sadly, far too often I see companies getting rich off of others' work, while the original creator suffers in silence.
