Just because Ireland is geographically referred to as part of the "British Isles", that doesn't mean one can just claim Irish food and beverages for Britain. There was a war of independence, just in case you forgot. I have to say, I've only been naturalised as Irish, and I'm still offended.

Oh, and in gastronomy drinks are never neglected. 😉
