Jeff Bezos in my opinion is a guy with the right mind-set and plays a very long game, very wisely, but I myself have to say that they’re really not the most people-oriented company based on my interactions with Amazon. It’s quite sad to see that the a visionary CEO doesn’t necessarily result in a staff that upholds the same values, and makes you wonder how people who cannot get time-zones right got hired in the first-place. Also, the fact that they consider consulting docs cheating, means they haven’t got the faintest clue about engineering and how it works. Their loss…
