It all comes down to a cost-benefit analysis. While I guess I'm doing better than most folks on Medium, after five months I can already say it's not as lucrative as people think. For me to feel like at least I've been reimbursed for my time, I'd have to see at least $50 for every hour of writing, and that's simply not the case.
