Interesting read. With my new job I had to jump back into Scala. To be honest I am way past the days when I cared religiously about languages and frameworks. I’ll use whatever does the job well. So far I am on the fence about Scala. It’s hard to find good Scala engineers, which means companies have reasons to move away from the tech and look at another stack with more readily available talent.
