Interesting findings and reading some other comments here, this conversation becomes even more intriguining. Hi, I'm Attila, and I am a top writer in Technology. I received the vanity title about a month ago. Some of what you observed is true, some less so. First of all, I followed you, I thought you wrote about an intriguing topic so looking forward to more. I also read more than maybe others. Writing for me is a side-hobby, and only recently I started writing almost every day. Normally I'd have about 15 articles a year, now I do about 20 a month. I read for inspiration, and I read to connect with other amazing minds and souls. Sure, writing here generates some cash, but I did that for 5 years without making a penny. I don't know how good a writer I am, I just write, because frankly, I'm too shy for public speaking. :) I am opinionated, yet open to alternative thinking, and I have a style, that I definitely do and I show it off as much as I can. I don't know how I became top writer, never cared about becoming one, it was never about that. It was about having a space to express myself and do that my way. If that's the trick to becoming one, well, then, there you go, keep writing and be yourself and you'll inevitably get better and likely a top writer. :)
