In my experience based on the women I know, they think a lot more about sex than you suggest. I also feel like this article is about a typical wife in the 60s, rather than a modern wife with a career, independence, etc. I am not suggesting your data is incorrect, just that it may be skewed by a category of people who chose you as the person to help.
