On your thoughts about the guy being “too chill”, I got that too before. In reality I am not as chill as I look or seem, but there are a lot of things that don’t move me out of my laidback state. One girl I dated for a while got pissed off at me for not getting pissed off at anything. I guess I don’t have that many triggers. There are also many things someone can have a nice conversation about but not necessarily get overly animated about.
Finally there is the aspect of getting comfortable with someone. Takes more than a date. Many people give up far too quickly and say there way no spark. Sparks are not limited to first dates in my opinion.
