I wish everyone read this. The "secrets" to a decent life were never hidden or complicated. I was taught at an early age to save money if I wanted LEGO. Later I had to learn to save money if I wanted to travel to see my girlfriend every few months. I kept that habit, then as soon as I could, bought a 1-bed apartment, and fingers crossed, by end of next year I will be done with the mortgage. Most people don't have money because either they don't know how to save or how to spend. Additionally, many have kids before becoming financially stable, and kids cost a 💩ton of money, and from there everything goes downhill. We don't yet live in a financially mature society I'm afraid.
