I think it’s the ethics of it. When the sole reason of deleting an article, then reposting it, is to increase earnings, it’s questionable whether that’s fair or not to those who don’t game the system, especially newer writers. I for instance would have never thought of deleting and reposting articles. That being said, I also don’t feel hurt by some doing that. I also see Medium pushing a lot of older articles which by their evergreen nature are still a great read years later.
