I started doing this thing where when I set up a meeting, I only make it as long as I believe is absolutely needed to discuss stuff (often just 10-15 mins). I get to the point quickly, try and reduce chit-chat to a minimum and when the conclusion is reached, we end the call.

Then, at some other point in time, I set up a half an hour 1:1 with my various team-mates and we just talk about random stuff. We hang out online. So far, it's working. I also tend to share async stuff in the team channel quite often, even LEGO, so there is a lesser need to use up everyone else's time in a meeting talking about what I've been doing.
