I said ALMOST nothing and I emphasised it too. What you are exemplifying is the part that has been achieved but in the grand scheme of things it's a drop in the ocean. The hype is around garbage like AI interviewers, the products that I talked about. Decoding old languages is cool, but doesn't quite solve today's problems. Drug discovery is also potentially useful, but when you look at Big Pharma you realise it just makes rich people even richer and poor people poorer in the wrong hands. I stand by my point that 90% of AI use is useless.

P.S. Also there is a difference between useful and truly useful. 😉
