I knew someone would point that out, and yes, this is indeed an article written from a male perspective. The reality is, I am quite active in “filling the gender-gap” in the tech community by both investing time and money into it, but it is a hype, and it is exaggerated, and finally, it varies from continent to continent and from country to country. I believe just as it is with coding, the “gender-gap” issue should be looked at from a much more pragmatic and objective viewpoint. Perhaps an article on what “filling the gender-gap should really mean”… :)
