Hmm… OK, let me ask you a few things.

  1. What’s the definition of a “good company”?
  2. Why would an engineer want to make a fool of their manager? Do you think a good engineer (and good human) would do that?
  3. Shouldn’t what’s doable be decided by the engineers and the general team, rather than someone with a veto right?
  4. Why do you assume that someone who codes automatically is capable in their trade?

Not saying you’re wrong or right, just trying to understand where you’re coming from. 🙂
