Hmm. Interesting perspective. I’d argue that you shouldn’t have to do that, but your experience is nevertheless valid and food for thought. The female engineers I have worked with so far all were pretty straightforward in their questions. That might have to do something with their cultural backgrounds too though (Polish, Irish, Russian, Croatian).
