Hmm. I would disagree on not being able to work for 2 companies simultaneously. None of the companies I have worked for ever had an issue with me doing side-gigs unless it was in direct competition with their business segment. I have a full time job and I am also self employed. That’s by definition two separate companies with two separate sets of taxes. Perfectly legal and ethical in Ireland and in many other countries.
