Hey Ayush. Glad you enjoyed the read. You're raising an interesting question. What's important to keep in mind is that your current machine has 8GB RAM, all available to the CPU and the GPU, even if integrated has 32MB RAM for simple everyday tasks. The M-series SOCs do take more advantage of the unified memory, which also means that you'll regularly work with less than 7 or 6 GB of RAM for everything else. What complicates things for you, is Blender. If you're attemting to use Blender as part of your usual day-to-day work, I would not recommend the M2 with 8GB of memory. Not a good long-term investment. Given your budget, I would actually say that you're better off with the 13" M1 Air or Pro with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. Being even more budget-conscious, you can also get these on Apple's official refurbished stores, with the same warranty as brand new. Many people who bought from there found it to be a fantastic alternative and the machines came in pristine condition.
