Having worked in software companies for over a decade now, there's usually a data department that keeps an eye on who clicks what when and even why. That data is actually quite diverse an interesting to look at, and often tells a different story than what we assume subjectively. With software and platforms there is always the small but vocal power user group, and the rest of the world. Businesses actually make a lot more money from the rest of the world, because it's a much larger group. It may not be what you or I wanna hear, but if we want the platform to survive and thrive, it has to first cater to the 95%.
