Gosh, this brings back memories.

On rare occasions my mother made a pork roast, she always used lard and seasoned the meat with ground paprika. The red residue once the roast was gone was heaven on earth to me. Mom kept it in the fridge for me in a small glass. But grandmother, despite knowing my preference, used butter.

Gosh, this brings back memories. Tasty memories. 😋 I also loved to eat that after mum fried sausages. Just spread it on bread, maybe with some tomatoes on the side. Best meal ever.
