Forgive me for not trusting my devices and data into the hands of some random repair shop. I have seen some of those repairs. No, thank you. Don’t get me wrong, I am not against the concept of repairability but I do like my stuff being repaired by the same people who built it, with official tools. Also, another few years and all this fuss about right to repair will be futile. Our devices’ internals will be so microscopic, everything will be recycled rather than repaired. It’s inevitable.
