Every junior should read this! Heck, I read it with a 4–5 years worth of experience under my belt, and still found it sobering. I think the difference between Brian and a real junior is the true passion for coding and not just the potential for a new career and the money that it brings. I find that the less and less I am a junior, and the more I spend time on complex apps, the more those “StackOverflow” solutions are merely a path/hint towards my own solution, allowing me to end up with my own code and go to bed satisfied with myself and proud that I tackled yet another challenge.
