Customer support is very costly unfortunately, so companies in general are making it a tad harder to reach out directly to a human. From a business perspective I have to agree and seeing the reasons people used to send emails to the support team, I kind of agree that there is little to no reason wasting their time with silly questions that one can either google or confirm with other Medium writers or consult the docs. Medium writers keep forgetting just how small a company Medium is.
