Apple absolutely CAN and DOES do wrong, and I say this as a fan.

Regarding the closed loop however, I'd say it renders the opposite. Look at Linux. It has not innovated at all, and it's still the mess it was 20 years ago. Windows is increasingly becoming a pile of garbage. Apple wants to be exclusive, exactly so it can enable innovation, by retaining full control over both software and hardware. I get though that it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Happy to hear you found the feedback constructive even if it was perhaps a tad heavy-handed. Looking forward to see more positive or perhaps a tad more balanced articles in the future. 🙂
