Anyone with over 3 functioning brain-cells would have seen this coming from a million miles. An apt executive team would have hired contractors for a set amount of time, say 6-24 months, then reassess. They instead decided to hire full-time employees, which ended up becoming more costly and shite PR because now, during their next hiring wave everyone will show them the middle finger.
