Again, not sure where you're from, but in the EU the "young men" part is a lot less true than where you are. I am 36. One of my team-mates is 41. I had and have colleagues hitting 50. Sure, there are more under 40 than above, but that's due to the young age of the web development industry. There is an issue in terms of gender diversity, aka the "men" part, but that's an entirely different - and very loaded - conversation across the planet.
