A healthy mix. I don't believe in penny-pinching, because life is too short not to enjoy finer things when you can afford it. That doesn't mean however that I don't do a cost-benefit analysis of what I spend money on and how much. For instance, it would be cheaper if I cooked for myself instead of buying read-meals or eating out. However, the time I would spend cooking would take me away from more profitable activities. Let's say on average I spend 10 euros / meal. That's 20 euros a day, but I can make in an hour 40 euros (after tax). So while it might seem like I'm a big spender, I am making better financial use of my time, and ultimately making more money.
