8GB RAM is not going to magically feel more than 8GB, just because it's M1.

Apple did a really solid job to make their laptop perform well, but it doesn’t do great when it is put under a lot of pressure like when I am doing some research and have a lot of tabs open up together at the same time, and then, the MacBook would start slowing down and it had even stopped working and would crash one or two times throughout my time using it.
